Him and Mikasa could be the unlikeliest of partnerships! She's fairly quiet but very physically capable, and would be fairly good at keeping him alive while he... does whatever good Once-lers do.

Sounds like a plan! She could rescue his ass and bring him back to a group or smth and he'll be like a puppydog following her around. Which is extra hilarious bc she's like half his age.
